The Salone del Mobile 2026 will see LINTELOO showcase designs that place dialogue at the heart of their concept.

Dialogue is an essential part of human coexistence. It forms the bridge between different perspectives and experiences. A dialogue therefore differs fundamentally
from a debate: the aim is to arrive at new insights, rather than to convince the other person. Those new insights into the other person and into yourself, lead to mutual understanding. And that is the basis for respect, cooperation and peaceful coexistence.

In a world where there seems to be ever less room for dialogue – and even debate is becoming increasingly polarised – writers, artists and designers are seeking connection now more than ever. They cherish dialogue, both figuratively and often literally: many of the new designs that LINTELOO is showcasing this year at the Salone del Mobile are constructed from different volumes or materials that interlock, support or complement one another. The components do not exist in isolation, but gain meaning in relation to one another.

LINTELOO, too, consciously seeks out and encourages dialogue. A table, a sofa, a chair, a lamp – however beautiful they may be as objects, it is the people sitting around, on or under them who bring our collection to life. It is the dialogue between design and user, and the dialogue between users themselves. So, take a seat on that sofa, pull up a chair around that table and let the lamp shine its light on people who are talking, not at each other but with each other.
