Wolterinck for VERDEN
VERDEN – Danish for ‘world‘- is initiated by LINTELOO to offer talented designers a platform on which they can develop their overall vision on interior. Without having to compromise they can use different techniques and materials to create a contemporary collection. While doing this they have the knowledge and experience of LINTELOO at their disposal.
Faas van Dijk created the first VERDEN collection in 2007, followed by Bart Vos in 2008 and Karim Osmani in 2009. Wolterinck created his first collection in 2011 and Yabu Pushelberg, one of the world’s most recognized design firms with studios in Toronto and New York were responsible for the 2016 collection. Wolterinck extended the collection with a new Sofa “Cervino” and the Azzano chair as well as new fabrics for the Salone del Mobile 2017.
Marcel Wolterinck is inspired by nature; “The philosophy in all of my works is that outside and inside grow together towards each other. Overlapping and if possible whereby he lines of the garden design connect with the interior.” Wolterinck has worked its magic on interiors, exteriors, patios, gardens and events throughout the world. The purity of our materials is what sets us apart from the rest. Sober, earthy colours promote calmness and natural rhythm, and the designs radiate luxury and symmetry.
During Salone del Mobile 2017 we are showing the latest collection by Wolterinck at the Dutch Pavilion in the Palazzo Francesco Turati. The palace was built between 1873 and 1876 at the request of Count Turati a respected tradesman in the cotton industry. The restored historic spaces at the Palazzo with beautifully laid wooden floors, marble doors and ornaments is the perfect location to show the new designs by Wolterinck for VERDEN.
