Heritage Design Post

The three-joint arcade hall of the Deutz post office was built between 1910 and 1914. The former eight-nave hall is the only building complex of the Deutz post office which was listed as a historical building in 1988. Until the 1990s it served as the postal railway station hall proper. Originally a parcel distribution centre, they are located directly opposite the Cologne-Deutz railway station and the trade fair grounds.

Experience modern interior design in an informal, pleasant atmosphere – that is the basic idea behind the concept of the Design Post Cologne. It provides international design brands with an ideal platform to be presented in exactly the way they wish to be. The diversity and variety of the collections exhibited side by side at the Design Post create a very special, exciting atmosphere for visitors.

The LINTELOO showroom of about 300 square meters is located on two levels with a intimate presentation of the VERDEN Collection by Marcel Wolterinck at the mezzanine level and the new collections by international designers on the ground floor.

The Design Post is directed at consumers, architects and planners as well as the exhibitors’ specialist dealers. Interested visitors will find a permanent exhibition of the most renowned international design collections from the living, work, light, textile and outdoor fields over 3,000 sq m of exhibition space.
